The NUS College common curriculum offers a more broad-based, interdisciplinary curriculum drawing upon the liberal arts tradition of Yale-NUS college and the interdisciplinary curriculum in USP. Besides having a small class size for both lectures and tutorials, students will get to participate in discussions with other students from diverse backgrounds/majors. This is as compared to faculty common curriculum modules that are usually lecture/tutorial structured, have bigger class sizes and typically attended by people from the same faculty.
