If we apply to NUS College, we cannot apply to RC at the same time. What if we get rejected by NUS College? Does it mean we have no chance to try for RC?
NUS College has its own residential buildings - Cinnamon College, Elm College, Cendana College, and Saga College. All NUSCollege freshmen will be staying in Cinnamon College during their first year. The other aforementioned colleges are for senior NUS college students.
NUSCollege is an honours programme with a compulsory residential component - students are required to stay in the NUSCollege residential college for at least 2 years, and freshmen are required to stay for their first year. Therefore, being a NUSCollege student means being part of the NUSCollege residential component.
If you do not wish to apply for NUSCollege but would like to stay in an RC, you may apply to one of the other four RCs. You may find out more about this here:
